I love hearing the young kids in this business piping off about what a big deal they are. They weren't even alive when the NV world was new, exciting, full of intrigue, and sometimes actual death for the people selling it.
It was in this time that ITT Night Vision, which doesn't exist anymore, decided it would be a good idea to pass out keychains containing the MCP from an image intensifier tube as a giveaway. What could go wrong, right? Then they heard back from DDTC that the keychains were ITAR because of the NV component inside. And THAT youngster is why you're probably looking at the only one you're ever going to seem except for maybe my personal one. But hey I don't need two of them. So whoever wants to put their money where their ego is can have, err... buy this one.
Oh and they're still ITAR so no foreign buyers.
